About Us
Bridge Farm Workshop was established in 1997, and between us we have over 60 year’s experience in furniture and cabinet making. The workshop is situated in an old converted barn on a farm in the picturesque riverside village of Britford on the outskirts of Salisbury.
We design and build custom-made, one-off commissions of handmade furniture and kitchens to order. Each unique piece is made to measure, whether it is a fitted piece or free-standing. We have also made and fitted individual components, such as wooden worktops, integral draining boards and large chopping blocks. Sometimes a butcher’s block or island unit is commissioned in wood to complement an existing fitted kitchen. We have made everything from beds, wardrobes and office furniture to handmade kitchens.
Design to delivery
No matter what you are looking for, we work closely with the customer to understand their needs and ensure the piece is designed to match their style and taste, as well as beautifully made and fully functional. Our hope is that these high quality individual pieces will become family heirlooms in time, so we want to make sure everything is perfect!
Furniture
We will produce scaled drawings following an initial consultation, which will be discussed with the customer. The furniture is then produced and finished as agreed, for example, it may be a wax, oiled, polished or paint finish. We personally deliver and fit our furniture. Then it is over to you to just enjoy the new addition to your home!
Kitchens
The kitchen is the heart of the home, so you want it to reflect you. We can help produce a layout, or can work from a layout you have commissioned from an interior designer. We have also made and fitted individual components. We work closely with the customer to ensure we understand their requirements, and with other trades to ensure smooth completion of their perfect kitchen.
